TIKTOK
As the fastest growing social media platform with 1.53 billion users worldwide, it is an invaluable marketing tool for small businesses to naturally expand their audience. I believe TikTok audiences value the ability to connect with brands and businesses in a more relatable (and let's face it, less stuffy) way and enjoy the seamless blend between entertainment and education.
Leveraging the surge of social media engagement during the COVID shutdowns, I launched Marie Gabriel Couture's TikTok page in 2020 and organically grew a following of 44.4k by:
- Consistently delivering high quality, relevant content to our viewers
- Monitoring and translating trending sounds, dances, and challenges into content that showcase the value of our business
- Engaging and interacting with audience through comments, likes, and messages

"Our stylists are trained to pull dresses you wouldn't have even imagined liking! Trust us, we got you 😘 "

"Miss our Milla Nova Trunk Show? No worries - new arrivals! Which is your fave?

"When you look good and feel good - don't change!"
WEBSITES
For many small businesses, creating a professional website is often left on the back burner due to time or financial resources. Recently, I offered my skills in digital marketing and brand development to create a website for Epic Dance Studios, a non-profit dance studio. Utilizing my knowledge in SEO and web design, I created a dynamic, engaging website that has already increased website traffic by upwards of 50%.
While TikTok and Reels have a heavy emphasize on chasing/starting trends at the right time, Instagram has been the platform where we deliver the consistency and value of the Marie Gabriel brand. With multiple features including stories, user-generated content, the explore page, reels, and tagged posts, it is important we consistently engage with our audience to develop trusting and positive relationships.
I am primarily in charge of creating the content for our posts and stories. I collaborate with our marketing director to create content that educates, promotes designers and events, and makes brides stop scrolling in their tracks!

INSTAGRAM REELS
In response to the fast growing popularity of TikTok, Instagram created Reels to provide short-form video content for its users. To optimize the time and resources used during content creation, most times we use TikTok and Reels content interchangeably. However, our Instagram audience tends to appeal to our more educated and professional brides so we try and to remain a little more straight laced as TikTok's trends do not always make sense outside of the context of the ForYou page.
In the past 6 months we reached an audience of 165k through reels alone.

Again, maximizing time and resources, our Facebook page is mainly posts from Instagram and Reels. Facebook is used by a generally older population and as a result is where mothers of bride tend to find us. Often we are mentioned in private, bridal facebook groups or tagged in posts about daughters or granddaughters finding their dress with us!
